The 2008 National Earthquake Conference
will be held  at The Westin Hotel in downtown    
Seattle, Washington.

Reservations:

To receive the special conference rate, reservations must be made by March 25, 2008.

The special hotel rates for conference guests start at $175 (government rate)
and $195 (non-government rate), plus tax. $30 will be added for each additional
person in a room.

     Government Attendees, USD$175.00 Online Reservation

     

     Government Attendees who book through this website will be asked to provide      valid Government ID upon arrival in order to receive the USD$175.00 rate. If      attendees are unable to provide their Government ID upon check in, the rate      will default to USD$195.00.

     
     Non Government Attendees, USD$195.00 Online Reservation

     Ask for the "2008 National Earthquake Conference rate".
 

     Due to the nature of the conference, if an emergency is declared and attendees      are required to depart early, they will not incur an early departure fee.


Ground Transportation: 

 

Metro operates Seattle's bus system and provides online tools to help riders. Bus rides in downtown Seattle, around the hotel area, are free. The Ride Free Area is bordered on the north by Battery Street, on the south by S Jackson Street, on the east by Sixth Ave. and on the west by the Seattle Waterfront. Several companies provide taxi and share ride service from the airport. Taxis are available in the ground transportation area. Shuttle Express and Downtown Airporter by Gray Line deliver passengers directly to the Westin. Online booking is available for both companies.
